Cowboy Coffee

Come on over to my house.

Have a seat in the vintage leather chair that we are babysitting for the neighbors.

Are you cold? Probably. Our thermostat lives on sixty. But relax, grab a blanket, and I'll make you a cup of coffee.

Wait, no percolator? No french press? No worries. I got this.

Cowboy Coffee
1. Boil 1 1/2 cups of water in a small saucepan.
2. Turn off heat. Stir in 1 spoonful of coffee grounds. Cover with a lid and let it sit for 5 minutes.

3. Add a little bit of cold water from the tap to help settle the grounds.
4. Pour into a mug, careful to not to pour the coffee grounds along with the coffee. If you do get a few grounds, no biggie. If this is a challenge for you, you can use a strainer.

yield: 1 hot mug of cowboy coffee. That's how we do awesome, recession-style.

Así lo hago.

I love doing my coffee this way! I haven't done it in quite some time though... Turkish coffee is made similarly. You should try that if you get the chance.
